As President of The Aesthetic Society, Eugene plastic surgeon Dr. Kiya Movassaghi has opened registration for the organization’s fully re-imagined 2025 conference, titled The Aesthetic Meet, March 20-23, 2025 in Austin, Texas.
The Newly Reimagined ‘Aesthetic Meet’
The 2025 conference not only has a new name, but promises greater educational opportunities, new experiences for physicians and aesthetic providers, and a more inclusive approach to aesthetic education beyond the plastic surgery perspective. Attendees can take advantage of innovative educational sessions, hands-on workshops, live demonstrations, and interactive panel discussions, creating opportunities to explore the latest advancements in aesthetic procedures, technologies, and practice management strategies.
Programming for Surgeons, Medspa Providers, & Practice Administrators
The Aesthetic Meet is designed to cater to a diverse audience of professionals beyond plastic surgeons—including nurses, physician assistants, aestheticians, and industry experts. This change follows the recent establishment of the AlliedPro branch of The Aesthetic Society, for aesthetic professionals who are not board-certified plastic surgeons to gain access to a community of aesthetic professionals in the growing niche of non-surgical aesthetic treatment centers, i.e. medical spas (medspas).
We’ve curated a program that not only highlights the latest scientific research and clinical techniques but also caters to the diverse roles and types of expertise that are required to run a successful, safe, and high-caliber aesthetic practice today.
—Dr. Movassaghi
The conference schedule includes lectures on wide-ranging topics, including “Rhinoplasty Think Tank: 3 Things that I Have Changed in the Past 3 Years,” “Ethics and Patient Safety in Aesthetic Practice,” and “How to Add a Weight and Wellness Program to Your Practice.” Providers will also be able to earn CME credit for attendance of certain programs.
Not only does the schedule include many courses on plastic surgery topics, but nurse and physician assistant injectors—as well as those in non-physician roles in aesthetic practices—will have educational programming opportunities. These include workshops for Patient Care Coordinators and practice marketing professionals, as well as injectables training sessions open to nurses, physician assistants, and physicians.
Attend In-Person or Virtually
The conference will take place Thursday-Sunday, March 20-23, 2025 in Austin, Texas. For those unable to attend in person, virtual attendance offers access to live-streamed sessions and opportunities to interact with speakers and peers through online platforms.
